FEBRUARY 10

is the date I am jetting off to TAIWAN!!!!!

In the meantime, I have been busy with an internship at a local marketing firm. I recently pre-registered for classes at NTU...a headaching process. I selected six classes: International Marketing Management (credited as Int'l Marketing at Trinity), Marketing Management, Information Systems, Intro to Biodiversity of Taiwan, Intro to Field Geology (crossing my fingers this will fulfill the Common Curric requirements for natural sciences), and Creative Art Design. Unfortunately, I couldn't register for Chinese classes because they are all full year courses. So, to get into these classes, the computer system randomly chooses students from the pool. It's not based on whether you are of junior-standing or if you are a certain major...it's all based on luck. Luckily I have the advantage as an exchange student, so it's pretty unlikely that I will get rejected by professors when I bring in a course registration approval form (or so I've been told).

Otherwise, I am SO excited because I am arriving just before Chinese New Year! Hongbao (red cash-filled envelopes) and yummy Taiwanese food, here I come!!
